Great question! I fell into it accidentally - a friend recommended the job to me as a great part time option while studying. It was meaningful work, and could fit around study. I found I had good intuition for the work, and became passionate about improving the quality of care available to people. I worked in direct support for a long time, then care coordination then program management, not quality management, so I have been able to do that. Being able to make a positive difference to people's lives by connecting them to quality workers in incredibly fullfilling stuff.
