The La Trobe Support for Decision Making Practice Framework Learning Resource - ABOUT (supportfordecisionmakingresource.com.au)

This is a free resource which is great and relevant to both the disability sector and professional, independent advocates.  There are ample scenarios, video clips and resources available to use as well to enhance practice frameworks.

Wicking Dementia Research & Education Centre at University of Tasmania (UTAS) offers free repeating courses, or MOOC's (MOOC – Massive Open Online Course) in Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury, Preventing Dementia and Understanding Dementia. Opportunity for DSW's to gain insight and training. An option exists to pay a small fee to have examiners assess knowledge for an official certificate but this is not necessary, a certificate of completion is free after online assessment. The MOOC's are detailed, thorough and well worth the time.
